I'd like to see some juxtaposed flags, or some just really odd ones. Like a rainbow gay-pride socialist flag. Maybe the Fist icon with each finger a different color. Your typical German Reich flag, but with a religious icon somewhere on it. The United States with less emphasis on the number of states and more on the united bit. A flag with a slab of cream cheese on it, perhaps in the shape of a bagel.
I challenge you drunkenly to make these flags. Doo as the empty bottle commands!

Here we are with the flag of the Mars Federation.
Obviously the large sphere represents Mars itself. The Two smaller spheres on the right represent Mars's moons Phobos and Deimos. The three yellow stars represent the first three major colonies that were established on Mars, and the yellow and black bands are decorative. Red, yellow, and black make up the governmental colors.
The federation itself is a governing administrative entity within the commonwealth that takes care of the planetary government for Mars.
But I talk too much, enough with that.

The federation itself is a governing administrative entity within the commonwealth that takes care of the planetary government for Mars. Martians themselves are very patriotic particular people. One could liken them to how Texas views its "independent" state of mind. At one point Mars did rebel in the years before the Commonwealth was fully established. However after a somewhat short civil war the Mars rebellion was hushed and was admitted as a federation into the Commonwealth. mind you this was not done without giving the Martian people a healthy dose of autonomy.
But I talk too much, enough with that.
This sounds like a story very similar to what I once tried to write but never posted. Damn me for my laziness.
How about a British Republic flag? It's an interesting idea that's been kicked around before, but there wasn't TB before
I'd suggest making the iron cross slightly smaller. Also, the pixilization makes it look hairy.
I am not sure yet, but I used the flag of the Netherlands as a base. I though a WI the Netherlands were a key part in German unification, and were part of the German Empire.
I have the original in photoshop so its not totally lost. I do it in case I decide to change something.
I'm thinking you mean something more socialist. Well In the history I'm writing Mars does establish a socialist regime but is absorbed after the Commonwealth is created.

I save all my work in .JPEG - especially with Photoshop, you can determine the compression of the file, which effects the size.

I got a great response with my Mars flag, and I appreciate it. I was hoping to get opinions on my Commonwealth Flag I posted before Mars as well.
But I'm also moving on to another flag. One of which I've hit a wall on.
Here we have the flag of colony on Titan, which looks like an eyesore to me. I want to redevelop this but I have no idea what direction to go next.
A little back history. Titan was colonized later then Mars because of length of time just to get there but also the colony itself was much harder to establish due to to the moons atmosphere.
Currently the colony is mostly a science outpost and is being used to study ways to improve colonization itself.
So I'd be grateful for some help.
Oh and I forgot, I should post the flag for the Lunar colony. Der!

I realize I'm posting again but I wanted to get out the rest of what I have finished.
Here we have the flag for the Unified Republic of Luna.
Luna was the first established colony and its establishment is cherished by those on Earth as mankind's first steps into interstellar settlement.
The Colors of orange, red, and light blue signify the colonies government colors. I originally wanted to use stripes but I found a rounded shape seemed to flow better. Next we have earth at the bottom showing the interdependence the colony has had with the home world. The sun rises above as a metaphor for the new beginnings that brought the Luna colony into fruition. last the ten orange bars signify the ten charters that established the mini colonies that began Luna.
A little history. Before confederation (the previous government before the Commonwealth), multiple nations set up colonies on the moon. Only ten survived the "dark years" (More on the dark years later). With a more unified world government the smaller colonies later combine into the larger colony.
Today Luna is a prospering colony. Its become quite rich off of trade that passes from earth to Mars and the rest of the colonies. Luna also serves as a military establishment that relays information and resources to the floating Commonwealth HQ Station nearby and earth government.

A flag for the Confederacy of Mars, one of the few planets in Sol to not be under the control of the Terran Solar League. It won its freedom in 2345 in the Martian War of Independence and has went on to fight several more wars against the rest of the Sol powers. Currently, Mars is most closely allied with the Paludis Empire (I'll make a flag for this one, it controls the Kuiper Belt and beyond. They're also known as the Exiles or the Cold Humanity, in reference to the lack of warmth and sunlight.)
The black background is obviously meant to represent space, the large red circle is Mars, with the two smaller red circles as Deimos and Phobos. The gold in the flag represents the richness of Mars and it's natural resources (as well as the wealth of freedom they have). The gold diagonal band on the right of the flag is the 'wall' of Mars and its people's resolve to defend their planet.
If someone could make the edges of the circles smoother, I'd be thankful.
