Edward of Middleham is born healthy

In terms of political developments, one imagines that the men who grew big under Henry VII would remain obscure here, which includes the Brandons. The Howards still likely maintain their positions as Dukes of Norfolk etc, the de Veres are probably going to suffer.

Indeed. And Cecily of Middleham b 1475 is the perfect match for James IV of Scotland. Anne of Middleham can marry Philip of Burgundy if Maria of Aragon does not snatch him up.

Indeed, that's what I was thinking. Philip to Anne, with Anne perhaps being able to rein that old goat in, or be just as tempestuous as he was

The question is who Maria marries then? Christian II of Denmark? Philipbert II, Duke of Savoy?

And Catherine of Aragon, by beautiful homegirl?

If Anne of Brittany is born male then Anne of Middleham would be a perfect bride. And then Maria of Aragon can marry Philip of Burgundy and Catherine can marry Philipbert. And since Philibert died in 1504, she might remarry to Charles III of Savoy.

Indeed, all possibilities

Perhaps not very good. But having a traveling court for a while might be good. And Richard needs to add more southerners to his council and staff.

This is very true, I can definitely see Richard perhaps shifting between London and the north, especially when shit gets too tiring in London. Much to the mutterings of his nobles.

Oh yeah, absolutely! He's a northerner at heart, he's not going to be able to stop that. Although, if the rebellion of 1483 doesn't happen, he'll probably have more southerners on his council anyway - according to Horrox, Richard did try to use his brother's men, but after the rebellion of 1483, he couldn't trust them, so he gutted the household and started again, more or less...

Oh now that is interesting, I do think Buckingham is going to try something, he's too ambitious not to, but maybe there's some semblance of sense from some of the Edwardian Yorkists and they hang aorund to try and ingratiate themselves with Richard and Edward, maybe it would help if Richard didn't execute hastings no?

That would definitely help. What would also help his cause is if the Princes died of indisputably natural causes, riding accidents and the like, so he can't be blamed for their deaths...

Edward V dying from a riding accident whilst in his woddivlle uncles company would be ironic

Well, Quite. And maybe butterflies mean Richard of York is the sickly one ITTL, and he's the one who dies at 8 or 9 instead, before his father.
