Was the "National German Commune" a fascist (or even *Nazi) totalitarian dictatorship, or rather a communist state/regime? Or was it somewhere in between/different (e.g. Strasserist/Nazbol)

The National German Commune was indeed an in between regime. Economically it was a far left regime, but socially and foreign policy wise, it was far right.

The bar is lower Otto but not by much. The two are military officials otl but not really ittl.
