LGT? Bisexual people don't exist?
Yes, they do exist.

"While the gay community movement had gained some traction before the War of 1983, all further extentions of the movement were halted until after stable societies formed. By 2001, multiple groups advocated for rights for lesbian, gay, and transgendered people." (Page 34)

"The years from 1983 to 2000 were a time when bisexual people, along with pansexual and asexual people, were mostly erased from popular consciousness. While some would continue to hold that they were bi, pan, or ace many said that they didn't exist, in both the gay community and in the larger heterosexual culture. Common erasure methods were saying that bi and pan people were only lesbian, gay, or straight people that were pretending to be something more or were really one or the other while asexuality was dismissed as nothing more than a mental condition. In 2006, a group of people who identified as bisexual, pansexual, and asexual united and formed the Alliance of Bi, Pan, and Asexual People as a way to help the more minor movements of the gay community be heard. Their slogan of 'We are here!' comes from the 1954 book Horton Hears a Who! by Dr. Seuss." (Page 42)

I don't see Weld running, not just because Kasich's the nominee but because most of the Libertarian base seems to distrust him.
Yeah, I agree but he is one of the more sane Libertarians. I'm sure if he were the head of the Libertarian ticket this year, they could've made it into the debates. In this scenario, the Libertarians have momentum thanks to the Republican Party in the 2020s collapsing.

Gone Fishin'
A Scottish Parliament
Part one: The Goverment

unionst2 copy.png

The Unionist Party is the largest unionist party in Scotland, the current governing party of Scotland, and the largest Scottish party in the House of Commons. It is the third largest Party in the United kingdom, though despite being nominally autonomous, it is generally recognized as a wing of the Conservative Party. It is led by Sir Malcom Rifkind, the current Prime Minister of Scotland.

The Unionist Party was founded in 1980 through the efforts of George Younger, superseding the Scottish Conservative Party in and absorbing it that same year. Named after the orignal Unionist Party, it was formed to contest seats in the then recently created Scottish Parliament, the party has served as the junior partner in a Conservative Goverment from 1987-1991, and 2007-2014, as well as having formed Goverment in Scotland twice, first from 1995-2000, and then again in 2015 to present, running a minority with supply and confidence from the Liberal Party in both. Despite personal neutrality on Europe from Rifkind, the Party follows the Conservative Party line on Europe, though beyond lip service many doubt that the party is as dedicated as Rifkind's counterparts in Westminster. Economically the Party pursues a tight fiscal policy, as well as a socially conservative approach to LGBT and Ethnic Minority Communities.

The Unionist Party is the largest Party in Scotland, holding 62 seats in the Scottish Parliament and 35 in the House of Commons. The Party has no current representation in the House of Lords, although many have suggested that several cross-bench peers act as unofficial Unionist Peers.
