AHC/WI: Western country turned "Nazi-Commie"?

How would the world react if a country in Western Europe suddenly turned to a political direction that can be described as a combination of Nazism and Communism?

I'm mainly thinking of Belgium, or possibly a separatist region of the Netherlands, or possibly a part of Eastern Germany.

For example in economical matters it would be heavily towards Nationalizing everything and be big on establishing local production of goods. It would have a very good social safety net and young families would be strongly subsidized.

Socially, it would resemble the 1940s. Open homosexuality, and non-traditional families would be banned. Although religion would be allowed, local Christianity would be similar to early 20th century Christianity. Pope Francis would be demonized as a "false prophet" who is "possessed by a demon."

The state would be publicly a "People's Democracy", although in many ways it would more resemble Arstotzka from the video game "Papers Please".

What is the most plausible way a country like this could come to be nowadays, and which country would you imagine the most likely to fit this role?

The ideology of which you're describing is most comparable to National Bolshevism. As it turns out, one of the few active National Bolshevik parties is Belgian: the Parti Communautaire National-Europeen, founded in 1984, and led by Luc Michel. The most likely possible circumstance I can imagine them coming to power is a Soviet victory (or American collapse) in the Cold War in the late 1980s or early 1990s. In a way it's plausible for them to come to power, but it would require Mothra-sized butterflies to be realistic within the setting.

A Strasser-ruled Nazi Germany might resemble what you're looking for with a POD early into the NSDAP's existence. Maybe an occupied Benelux region with Strasserist policies would work if you're looking for something specifically in Belgium/the Netherlands.

I guess you could see an ideology similar to North Korea's Juche crop up somehow, combining Marxism with ethnic nationalism.

The closest thing Belgium got to that was under REX party and they wanted a Catholic fascism State model after Franco Spain with Nazism ideology
But they highly anti-Communist and never gain much popularity...

On other side of spectrum, we got the Belgium Socialist party, but there more political Mafia (corruption, embezzlements, retention of political power and murder)
