Edit: Now with more. Same world as my Confederate States Marine Corps and Japanese Federation posters. It's a quickie, so there's bound to be grammatical mistakes >.<

Hmm....looks like Bavarian Byzantinum/"Ottoman" Empire and Persia, Portuguese China and Ethiopian Manchuria.

Right then, well here is the second map, about 100 years later, at the fall of Macedonia to Huns, Spartans and Estruscans, while the Germans are nearing the height of their expansion.
I think so - did Rome get butterflied, or taken down by a Greek-Carthaginian alliance of convenience?
Ninja'd! So the Etruscans defeated the Romans? I would think that would require a substantially pre-Alexander POD...

Hey DireSituation do you have a timeline written for your maps/world I would really like to read it if you do.
The Macedonian empire would never survive that long. It simply didn't have the state apparatus for it. After Alexander died or was murdered it would fall apart.
A map of circa 2015 made by someone circa 2005.
Made mostly to try a few things: one, the basemap- using SRegan's delightful maps of the Moon and Mars and also (incorrectly, I know) using his Dymaxion map for the poles; two, the 'less is more' colour scheme seen on maps like these (amongst others; those are just the only ones I could find on a brief search); three, to start making maps again.

Great map, really conveys the feeling while being minimalist. Do you mind if I borrow it for Alien/predator TL?
