CENTRAL EUROPE - FOR ALL ETERNITY
The German’s crimes under the Nazi party was quite too overwhelming, the Hun’s lust for blood costed the lives of innocent civilians all across the continents, millions of Slavs were gassed and shot while French were raped and tortured. 6 millions Jews were killed in a mass industrial genocide, in the name of racial pueity of the “Aryan Race”. After the final defeat of the Third Reich in November 1946 [1], it was a commitment for the European allies of France, Britain, and the Soviet Union to finally solve the German question which has started countless wars.
Starting with the defeat of the German Reich, new proposals for the German question were discussed. Some simply wanted Germany to be simply partitioned, some wanted Germany to be a cow pasture. Eventually, after months of negotiation, the allied supreme council reached a decision. For peace on the continent, the German nation and culture must be destroyed. Yes, it sounds criminal but it must be done, for the sake of peace.
Starting from 1947 to 1950, the partition of Germany slowly began. In 1947, the Dutch, Belgian, and Luxembourg annexations were approved by the allies. In the east, Poland took South of East Prussia while the Soviets took the North and all land East of the Order. The Czechs took Saxony and a strip of Bavaria. The remains of Germany still remained under occupation however, progress still needs to be done to pacify the hun. Resistance Nazis committed crimes still against the peacekeepers, wanting to restore Nazism like the lowlife evil they are.
The pacification of Germany from 1947 to 1951 was a swift series of actions taken by the allied peacekeepers to finally end the German insurgency. All across the occupation zones, any signs of German culture was destroyed and the language strictly forbidden. Large population transfers took place, where Germans can work for another nation to help them rebuild and develop far regions, such as the Germans in Siberia [2]. Sterilization took place to prevent more obedient Nazis from being born and a new commission but set up in the Ruhr to liquidate the German’s industrial capacity, nicknamed the “Destruction Zone” [3].
All German monuments were to be razed, symbols of German militarism. As revenge for the “Rape of Paris” in 1945 [4], all cultural monuments that the Germans adored were blown up and replaced with new allied monuments, chanting peace and the peace loving allied leaders. The allied council also banned German food such as their famed sausages, to be replaced with processed industrial leftovers, to break the will of the Germans even further.
With the process of degermanification taking place, some Germans took the choice to move to South America, the United States, Portugese colonies, and the British dominions. From 1947 to 1960, nearly 20-30 million Germans fled abroad. Another 20 million were involved in the population transfers to work as volunteer labor for the Soviet Union in Siberia and France in Algeria. 10 million died in occupied zones due to famine caused by Nazi lowlife sabotaging food supply [4]. The remaining 10 millions were assimilated into their respective cultures.
In 1951, the allied council met again in Mirgrad (Potsdam) [5] to discuss the fate of the remaining occupation zone of Germany. Stalin proposed that Eastern Germany shall return back to Slavdom, bringing up that it was conquered by German settlers back in the medieval age. Churchill also opted for the restoration of Hanover while the French planned a series of weak buffer states against Soviet influence in Eastern Europe. The allied council finally decided on a final peace proposal.
The Mirgrad Peace Accords determined that the remaining occupation zone is to be carved up into new states. The new states of Sorbia and Pomerania were forged as a new home for the peace loving Slavic peoples while the French annexed Wurttemberg and established a settler state in former Hesse called “Frankia”. The British recreated Hanover and absorbed the Ruhr Zone, which was by this point totally deinsutrizaled.
Austria, despite their lies that they were the “first victim of Nazism”, were also partitioned. A new Slavic buffer state was established out of Eastern Austria as the Democratic Republic of Salzo, a protectorate of Zapodslavia. In Tyrol, the land was originally to be ceded to Switzerland but the Swiss proposed that a new Tyrolean nation be formed and base itself off of Switzerland. The allied council approved and the new nation of Tyrolia was forged, under a Swiss protectorate.
During the talks though, a new elite came to the Migrad talks, the “Social Avantgardists” [6]. The Avantgardists championed that a new worldwide forum be established out of the former lands of the war mongrel Germans and to help civilize them. The new state is to speak Esperanto, a proposed international language. They staked claim to Bavaria and Austria and were approved by France and the Soviets, therefore, the “Esperanto Republic” was born.
When the Chinese War began in 1951 [7], the Soviet Union withdrew much of their troops from Sorbia and Pomerania to fight. This caused the insurgency to get out of control and the war mongrel Germans were close in taking over Sorbia from the peace-loving Slavs. Eventually, the Poles and Czechoslovaks sent forces to fight the German Insurgencies and as a result, grew closer together. With the death of Stalin in 1952, Krushchev allowed a close economic and political union between the West Slav states in 1954.
After the German Insurgency was defeated [8], the Western Slav states cooperated closer together than ever. In 1958, the Treaty of Krakow was signed, united Sorbia, Pomerania, Czechoslovakia, and Poland into the new “Socialist Union of Zapodslavia”. The union mostly bases its political system from the Soviet model, with socialist republics making up the state and Autonomous Socilaist Republics (ASRs) also serving for other minorities inside the states.
The year is now 1965 and peace has finally settled in Europe. Despite the recent emerging tensions between the newly emerged American superpower and the Soviet Union after the Chinese War from 1951-1956, both powers refrain from war as such as would the Germans would. With the German nation gone, the balance of power has returned to Europe, preserving the peace as it did before 1871.
[1] Due to no total American commitment to defeat the Nazis, the British and Soviet victory was delayed by a year.
[2] The Soviets created a separate ASSR out of Altai for the Germans to help “develop” the region. Has good ol’ forced labor, starvation, and the gulag ™ .
[3] The Ruhr was totally deinsturized to the bare bone, the “Destruction Zone” lasting from 1947 to 1951 is comparable to the Khmer Rouge of OTL. The British, French, and Soviets used the region as target practice daily and starvation was rampant.
[4] When the British and Free French were about to enter Paris, the Parisians attempted to rise up. The Germans tried to suppress the rebellion and destroyed Paris, blowing up the Eiffel Tower. As a result of this, the French were eternally pissed at the Germans.
[5] Potsdam was later renamed Mirgrad, meaning “City of Peace” in Russian as a monument to the Peace Accords destroying Germany.
[6] Kinda made these guys tbh, kinda like intellectual utopic internationalists who want to experiment with the Germans to create a new country that would eventually unite all of mankind.
[7] ITTL, the Pacific War continued into early 1947 with the nuclear bombardment of Japan and a land invasion by both the Soviets and Americans. In 1951, American marines landed in Southern China to save the Nationalists, starting the “Chinese War” (ITTL’s Korean War).
[8] With genocide, deportations, and starvation all used, but they don’t like to talk about that.
