I feel like some element of German nationalism will survive, however it will be less at the extent of minorities in Red German, but rather seeking a cultural "Germanic Socialist Union" with Flanders, Netherlands, Austria.
We are aiming for mid-late 2019 for an "alpha" release, which will contain (at the very least) completed major countries (Germany, USSR, UK, France, Italy, USA and Japan). It will be on the Steam Workshop.Nice! This mod looks awesomely detailed!
Is there an ETA on the mod's release date, and will it be on Steam?

Thank you! Unfortunately such a thing isn't possible to do in HOI4 yet. If Paradox adds the ability to have ideology or country based GUI themes we will for sure implement that. For the moment having a red themed GUI for all countries is all that can be done.Love that red colour! Does it change to match ideology?
Apologies for the late reply. The living conditions in Germany are considerably better than the Soviet Union due to the preexisting levels of industry and development. Additionally, while Germany is still spending considerable resources of reconstruction and redevelopment as part of recovery efforts from the German Civil War, life is generally better for most people than it was in the Weimar Republic at the same time period. How is life under red Germany?
It had more industrial development than Russia did so...
Surely the French bourgeois are cowering in terror, out of fear their Proleteriat might break the chains with the help of their German comrades!
Hmm... So likely greater appeal for communism in the west?Apologies for the late reply. Yes, though communists in Italy and France (the most revolutionary countries outside the Comintern) have been suppressed by the implementation of anti-communist military regimes.Hmm... So likely greater appeal for communism in the west?
Btw great work.
There is no complete list yet, however the majority of prominent German officers and generals joined with the anti-communist regimes in the Rhineland and Baden-Württemberg. I can confirm Rommel will be present in Red Germany.Which generals fight under red germany?
Well, he isn't the only officer to defect during the German Civil War. Anyway, at this point he was relatively apolitical (which did change later admittedly), and he apparently even sympathized with the revolutionary movement in OTL, avoiding combat with the militants when ordered to suppress them in 1918 and 1919. Regardless, the majority of the upper officer corps is composed of communists, many of whom served in the International Brigades in the Spanish Civil War (in OTL obviously). Why Rommel of all people?
Livonia and Baden-Württemberg will share identical tank designs due to their relations, and they will be more similar to OTL German Panzers. On the other hand, Red German tanks are more streamlined than Nazi Germany, with designs more akin to that of the Soviet Union. Prototype Panther tanks have been used for some of the completed GFX. Planes are a similar case. Apologies for the relatively late response.I know you guys have shown off the focus trees, but what about the tech trees? Are the Livonian panzers going to be WW2 German panzers? And what about Red Germany? What will their tanks and planes be like?
