The Anglo-American Union and World in 1950
In this world the British and Commonwealth were pounded so hard after WWI and II that and Economic collapse forced Britain, and later the Empire to sell its soul the US since the Future Queen and was killed in a 1943 air raid. The Democrats have found new patterns in the South Africans States and in the 1948 Election, and Democrats won thanks to the vote of the Dixiecrats and the "Afrikrats" (a mixurture of the words Afrikaner and Democrat). And the White Raja's of Sarawak have been replaced by the less enousasitic name of Governor of the Malaya Territory. The AUU in 1950 is lead by President Harry S. Truman with his new Vice President, Clement Atlee (D-EN).
So there was literally no one next in line for the British throne after the Queen? Thats the only gripe I got for this map.
Looks like a Pakistan in dominion colors and Japan is also a state(s).
Anyways, nice job it isn't often there are American colonial empire worlds.

Because it was mostly in Japan. She was a prosecutor during the Crimea conflict with Russia and Ukraine, and for some reason a bunch of people started obsessing over her. It's a fun world isn't it

Well, I'd say the meme had done a lot to propel her career since. Youngest female general at 36 before resigning to become an MP.
To be completely honest, she is very cute. And there is a section of Japan's population who goes insane when something cute shows up.

Side note: The POD is between the color change from Fascist Brown to German Grey.
The Message spread like a wildfire through all of Europe.
On a public exhibition in Nürnberg, Hitler was shot by an unknown attacker. The Event was live seen by more than 50,000 visitors so it was impossible to hide it via Gestapo.
The Führerkult, designed to server absolute obey to Hitler, was destroyed in one moment. The party lost its leader and master.
The NSDAP which acted like a shot but still alive animal slowly bleeding out searched for a guilty one.
While their institutions slowly were failing due to the lack of the Führer, they decided to publicly execute two social democrats and a politically not aligned person as the "murderers". Although it was made publicly by a group of Journalists (which were imprisoned afterwards) that these three people weren't even in that City and Region at that timespot. The executor simply ignored the message and the three were executed.
But this enraged even a significant chunk of the Nazi supporters (approx. 13-37%): The NSDAP was supposed to get rid of Jews, Roma and Slavs, but not of wealthy and innocent German men!
A revolution occured under the leadership of social democrats and liberals, while the also enraged Nazi supporters helped in hope to just "restructure the NSDAP". With little outside help (*cough* France *cough*) the Revolution was able to overthrow the NSDAP government and reestablish the Weimar Republic under social democrat leaderhip, much to france's benefit who also were social democrat and wanted to prevent an NSDAP to attack France for Alsace. The two Government neared themselves another time and German Chancellor Scheidemann who reigned until his death in 1941 was able to regain German prestige by regaining Danzig and establishing a shared corridor beween Poland and Germany in exchange for a part of the still-german puppet of Bohemia-Moravia. It was also his last legacy to rejoin into the League of Nations, just before Italy declared war on France and Germany to gain Areas promised as "Italian Lands" by Mussolini to recreate the Roman Empire.
Scheidemann died during the second World War, but the work of him and his party was paid off with Germany staying side on side with France, Britain and America against the Fascist Regimes we all know.
During the fight with Italy, Germany was able to annex a large part of Slovenia during the occupation of Yugoslavia by Italy and Turkey in 1942. The War ended in Europe 1944 while Japan lasted until 1948.
In 1945, two LoN Mandates were given to Germany showing the brilliant integration into the League. They weren't the largest, but Germany was grateful to having regained its prestige and reliability that they'd get such mandates. They comprised of Tyrol and the Italian Littoral, representing the Area owned by Habsburg Austria/Cisleithania prior to the 1st world war.
The mandates had, similar to what was the OTL Ostgebiete, the sole purpose to resettle the Italian Residents from these areas into Italy proper. This was made to prevent Italy from ever making claims on Tyrol, Littoral and Yugoslavia again. While Italians were violently displaced, a cordial resettlement of the resident croats in Littoral was arranged with LoN member Yugoslavia.
Although officially mandates, They are widely seen due to their major German population and the Course of African Mandates as part of Germany. Czechia is sort-of independent but still a puppet.
The shared Poland Corridor was replaced by a Land of Germany a bit later as a new law was introduced by the LoN, allowing Germany to own this area entirely and to occupy it, but letting Poles trespass without tolls or restrictions (Army does have restrictions). In General, Europe is leaning towards what we call OTL the EU. First Condolences in economy have been made between France, Britain and Germany to prevent trilateral wars, while the wish of the young population to create a united Europe has become very popular.

Well they're not colonies, they're associate member states.
Well if you really cared about Civil Rights you'd probably want to head to Central America or the Eastern African Federation.

And *this* is where it totally walks into ASB.
Italy would have had a decent chance supporting Austria in a defensive war against Germany, especially a Germany still trying to get around the restraints of the ToV. *However*, Italy would have had a great deal of trouble taking on France one on one. (The Navies were about equal, the France had a bigger Army). Add in Germany, *even if the Germans do nothing but fight defensively in Austria and provide armaments to the French* and the Italians are in a world of hurt. And having the British and US on the side of the French and Germans and things get silly. We've gone way past the Japanese attacks in December 1941 and are rapidly heading toward the Anglo-Zanzibar war.
I'm not sure if you have read my post correctly. the POD starts after the Anschluss, not before.
Additionally, It didn't say how Italy declared war. By "Roman Empire" I don't mean that they try to get 110AD borders back but rather what they planned in WW2. Their Ambitions would probably look like this but dont have to be. You know, that classic expansionist ambitions.
It doesn't mean that Italy made an aggressive strike. Maybe Spain or hungary, or even Japan (we don't know as I concentrated more on Germany-France-Poland-Britain)) as described in the text with "against all the fascist regimes". Due to a lacking Germany, Italy might look around to search some allies. If they'll get bullied by France, Germany, Britain or whatsoever (could imagine Hungary stumbling into Germany/German interests and "Whoops, WW2") and Italy would declare war on them to stand with their ally (The same happened in OTL Japan-Germany, to point that out).
