Not an infobox, but related to something I found on wikipedia, which is an old, and very very literal, translation of Sailing the Seas Depends on the Helmsman, aka the song that will make you a Maoist for two minutes. I re-wrote a more poetic version which actually matches with the melody of the song:

To sail the seas depends upon the helmsman,
Life and growth depends upon the sun.
By rain and dew from earth the crops are brought up,
Making revolution depends upon great Mao Zedong Thought.
Fish can't leave the water,
Nor melons leave the vines.
The workers and the peasants with no vanguard cannot rise.
Mao Zedong's great teaching, the sun that forever brightly shines.

(The third version is the very bad English one)

Theres something so incredibly infectious about this song's enthusiasm. It stirs the soul. For just one moment it makes me truly believe that THROUGH PEOPLE'S POWER WE CAN BUILD THE BRIGHT FUTURE, or ANY UNDERTAKING IS POSSIBLE WHEN A BILLION HEARTS BEAT AS ONE.

Interference is an American drama thriller series that premiered on ABC on November 7, 2016. The series was created by Vladimir Putin and produced by ABC Studios. Putin, alongside Julian Assange, Edward Snowden and Jill Stein serve as producers.

The story revolves around a recent US presidential election in which a controversial candidate, businessman John Paul Higgins (Donald Trump), has surprisingly won the presidency. Intelligence from a covert source is provided to CIA Director Elizabeth Baker Finley (Hillary Clinton) that the Russian government interfered with the election by leaking stories and information damaging to Higgins' rival, Senator Warren Robertson (John Brennan), as well as creating false news stories to be disseminated on social media and hacking into emails. With this intelligence, Director Finley creates a covert investigation team consisting of her trusted CIA analysts and officials to examine the evidence to determine whether Higgins' campaign team were aware of what the Russians were doing and whether they were helping them before the presidential transition of power. As the investigation goes on, more shocking allegations and twists come to light.

ABC originally ordered 8 episodes for the first season, advancing it to a full season order of 20 episodes on November 29, 2016. The first series has received positive reviews from critics, in particular the performance of Clinton.

Sorry, but no effect. I must be hardened after Battleship Potemkin, aka the film that will make you a Bolshevik for its entire runtime.

Through A Mirror, Darkly

During the Age of Sail, fortress worlds served an important role protecting the high orbitals and approaches on major worlds. But as technology advanced, fortress worlds were left behind. Traditionally they were small moons or asteroids located orbiting a planet or at it's Trojans. Both the United States, the Continental Alliance and the Anglican Communion operated hundreds of fortress worlds well into the 28th century. Almost the entirety of the world's population is dedicated to defense. The worlds bristle with weaponry, defenses and small combat craft to defend itself and its mother world. They can be self-sufficient for extended periods of time, so that even if the enemy were to bypass them, they could be thorns in their side. However, in the past hundred years, the Continental Alliance has decommissioned and/or demilitarized more than two-thirds of their fortress worlds, while the Anglican Communion has consolidated its fortress worlds to protect vital areas. The United States, though, has retained the majority of its fortress world and has even constructed new fortress worlds.

All American fortress worlds are either one state or multiple states, with representation in the United States Senate at the federal level and within the legislative bodies at the stellar union level and below. The military forces on an American fortress world are organized into special state defense forces that can be federalized into federal service during times of war or emergencies. At the beginning of the Great War, President Robert Shriver federalized some fortress world state defense forces. His successor, President Katherine Taft, federalized all of them early in her term but began to draw down forces only to the most vital, necessary areas. Life on the fortress worlds are highly militarized and regimented. Children who live on fortress worlds attend military boarding schools until the age of 18--some join the state defense force, while other join the federal military (officers raised on fortress worlds are particularly prized by field artillery, coastal artillery and air defense). Everyone stops at 5pm to salute the flag while the national anthem is played. The Pledge of Allegiance is recited at the beginning of every day and before movies.

One of the newest and most modern American fortress worlds is Sherando, located at the trailing Trojan for Anguta, orbiting the gas giant Sedna in the Vulcan system. It was commissioned in 2799 and admitted to the Union in 2801. It is armed with enough railguns, hadron lasers and rocket tubes to go toe-to-toe with a squadron of Alliance juggernauts, and is home to two wings of intra-system missile rigs for extended defense. The creation of arcology valleys has melted glaciers into rivers and lakes on the surface, necessitating the need for a small naval militia. The Department of War and the Parks & Game Administration are currently engaged in a protracted legal battle over the creation of a National Wildlife Refuge in the nooks and crannies. The Sherando State Defense Force has been federalized at three times in its history: 2802 - 2804, 2817 - 2819 and most recently in 2835, with units of the state militia being deployed to Anguta.
