Perdiccas

In the timeline “Eternal Glory: A Story of the Alexandrian Empire” by JP_Morgan, Perdiccas is a king of Macedonia, who succeeded his father Argaeus III in 236 BCE. Perdiccas' reign sees the beginning of the collapse of a longer-lived Alexander the Great's empire, and is marked by the widespread persecution of Buddhists, the loss of most of India, and the spiteful treatment of failed generals. Perdiccas, a homosexual, dies without an heir, presumably sparking a succession dispute which further weakens the empire.
