Points of Divergence : Hinduism
Hinduism is one of the world's older major religions, originating on the Indian subcontinent and also being the most widespread there, particularly in modern day India itself. Outside of the subcontinent, hinduism can also be found in a few other Asian countries, and in countries that historically had a large Indian immigrant culture which they retained (e.g. Trinidad, Guyana, Suriname, Mauritius).
This page lists links to discussions about various potential points of divergence in the religion's history - some more plausible, some more far-fetched, but all of them interesting options for alternate developments of Hinduism and its interaction with other religions and predominantly non-Hinduist OTL cultures.
