It begins in 1913, as the mythological continents of Lemuria, Atlantis and Mu suddenly appear in the world. World War 1 is butterflied away, replaced by a greatly reduced Balkan War between Austria and Russia (with Serbia as its ally). Austria and Russia collapse as the great powers on the seas start colonising the new continents, while Atlantis experiences an industrial revolution.
