What if instead of the Late President Ferdinand Marcos becoming the President of the Philippines in his time.

Someone else became the dictator and went deranged due to a family tragedy (example rebels killing members of his family) during martial law. He then plotted to bomb the Malacañang Palace on the time EDSA Revolution happened, and succeeded to blow up himself, the palace, and the revolutionists storming the building? What coould have happened in the next years?

This could have never happened. Remember even up to the very end, the USA was supporting the Marcos Regime (don't forget he was even given exile to Hawaii). ANY form of possible rebel attack on Malacañang Palace would have been detected by the CIA way way way before it could ever happen.

The biggest reason why Marcos survived for so long was USA support and monnnneeeyyyyyy. Lots of money

Maybe in real life, but what if the president who replaced FEM in this timeline is a suicidal sociopath who rather die like that than run away from the Philippines... and succeeded?

As I see it, in that day and age, the only kind of dictator who was likely to be willing to die in that manner, regardless of that person's state of mental health, was someone whose ideology had alienated the major players on both sides of the Cold War. Marcos had enough friends in high places in Washington to gain an escape to Hawaii, and a much more left-wing Philippine dictator could have been chummy enough with the bigwigs in Moscow and/or Beijing to earn refuge in the Crimea, Hainan, or even Havana.

Possible, but chances are those kinds of alliances would quickly go south due to severe ideological clash simply because the leaders of those rebels want to literally recreate the Philippines after their own image.

I can only see this like 50s esque probably the huk rebels become more powerful. Roxas, Quirino and co killed and the civilian government paralized and virtually like no authority.

Someone coups or like military takes over

Yes things would be more different, but you'll need a different POD for Marcos Sr to be snuffed. The easiest would be to get killed during the Japanese occupation.

What if Marcos Sr, is killed fighting the Huxs in the 50's? Could imelda hook up with a smarter politco? Properly used her talents won't fall to hording.

Can't really think of a smarter politico at that era, but there is a possibility of Imelda latching to influential politicians.
