What if all countries had to use Nordic Cross style flags?

No offense to whatever the OTL flag represents, but I can't believe this wasn't chosen as the flag of Greenland:
well a white cross on blue is the flag of the shetland island so instead, what about basing it on the royal flag of scotland ?

to continue with my idea that non-christian countries should not have a straight up cross, this one has a scandinavian cross type field division rather then an element in its own right. Considering the unusual shape of the Nepalese flag, using a bifurcated flag as used in scandinavian warflags also seemed right.
As I mentioned above, I wanted to try and avoid an actual cross for a non-christian country
