Timeline 191 - Random Events Post Second Great War

Are you going to continue your TL191 story even tho it was already 3 year?
Well, I'm not really a professional writer, so I think that I've carried this particular story line about as far as I can take it. On the other hand, I have similar time line, but in this second time line the Socialists manage to seize control of the US government, and a few years later the entire North American Continent is ruled by an authoritarian government called the American Union of Socialist States. That is, except for Quebec. I'm about 80% finished with this idea, and it will span the period of time from the mid 1940s up to the late 1990s.

Speaking of socialist, why do you think that Communism will risen up into Providence as OTL did?
Well, in our timeline the spread of Communism was aided by the fact that there were millions of poor peasants living throughout the developing world who had nothing to lose by joining Communism. The same might also be true in the 191 universe given the fact that a large percentage of the world's population seems to be living under the yokes of 19th century empires which have somehow managed to last into the middle of the 20th century. Also, from Imperial Russia to Imperial Japan millions of people have squandered their lives in coal mines and munition factories has their sons and fathers are sent off to die in wars which only benefit the ruling class. Such a situation is breeding ground for revolution, but in the case of the 191 universe it would most likely be Marxist-Trotskyits revolution, not Marxist-Lenninist revolution as in our universe. I think that the communist regimes of the 191 universe would generally more radical and short lived than the communist governments found in our world. Where else would all of the down trodden peasants living in the 191 universe turn? Representative democracy? not likely in my opinion.

Why I do agree with Imperial Russia because of it chances of turning into communist revolution but Japan?

Imperial Japan had to be the most anti-communist country aside Nazis or the Italy in OTL, Japan have a very traditional society and trust the emperor to their lives to extend that they they violently kamikaze attacked the US Navy during the Pacific war.

I could see communism rising in East Asia because of the Soviet supporting them but Japan as a whole that's just too unrealistic in my point of view

Don't know much Socialism to answer that question

All of those things are true. Also.....

It has been a while since I read the timeline I created at the beginning of this particular thread, and in the timeline I've included here, the Japanese don't go Red, they remain Imperalists, while it is the Americans who become communists, at least for awhile that is. So, in the timeline I included in this thread, the Japanese don't divide their country between communists and capitalists, sorry for the confusion. That was another timeline I wrote a few years before this one.

What the German Empire and Ottoman Empire in general? because they didn't get even the mention of them in your TL191

In our timeline there was an incident known as the The Bavarian Soviet Republic which occurred shortly after World War I.

I was imagining that something similar might happen in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, but this time the rebellion is so severe, that the Germans march and initially make all of it part of the German Empire. However, a few years later, German troops returning from a renewed war along the Russian border introduce a new strain of Marxist-Trotskyism into the German industrial heartland, and this time it is Germany which experiences strikes, worker revolts, and rioting.

To make a long story short, the German intelligence services are able to subdue the ring leaders behind the rebellion, but German leaders realize that the must modernize and somewhat democratize their society in order to help stave off any future communistic rebellions. Within a few short years Germany is transformed from an autocratic empire, into a somewhat liberal democracy, somewhat similar to the United Kingdom in our timeline. The territories conquered by Germany during the Second Great War are transformed into the European Confederation. Also, by the 1960s, the Chancellor of the European Confederation (almost always a German) will wield more power than the German head of state.

However, all of this comes to a head when the European Confederation and the American Union of Socialist States fight a limited superbomb war in October of 1968. As war breaks out, the Chancellor of the European Confederation refuses to launch a strike against North America, falsely believing that reports of American superbombs being detonated on European soil are false. As a result, several German military officials stage a partially successful coup against the chancellor of the EC, but it is too late, and several European port cities are destroyed with Hiroshima sized bombs. The EC military manages to strike back, but generally speaking, the Americans come out slightly better in the war.

The coup leaders flea to Russia where the found a new political movement based upon nationalism and self governance. It is unclear what will happen next in Central Europe.

But how about the Ottoman Empire? because they were barely or any Mention of them in your original post

How about the relationship with the native Americans and the US doing in TL191?

Because there's a lot of implication that they got even worse treatment in the north because of the Heavy Rememberancist ldeiology and Militaristism in the Series'

The Ottoman Empire lost most of its territory due to Arab nationalism, and during the later half of the twentieth century, the Ottoman Empire exists only as a rump-state in Anatolia. Once the Arabs living in North Africa realized that the British and French empires were gone for good, a wave of Arab nationalism started in formerly French Algeria, and worked its way across the entire Arab world. Meanwhile Iran remains a secular state, with India remaining undivided and having not partitioned parts of its territory to create Pakistan.

Are Jewish pp are like in TL191 especially with Europe and America?
Well, many Jewish people migrated to the Crimea to establish a homeland there. However, their homeland isn't really an independent nation like Isreal in our timeline, rather it is a semi-autonomous zone within Russia.

I don't really know. My sense is that the US killed a lot of Native Americans after the War of Succession, and maybe there aren't many of them left in most areas. Also, some tribes appear to have sided with the Confederacy, so I'm guessing that relations would be difficult for many years to come.

Do you think that Luzon who will be more and more Japanese settlers throughout the 20s Century?

I could see Philippines having large percentage of Japanese like with Chechnya in the 90s
