The New Imperialism of Pearl Delta on Republic of Cantonia

Editing color tone Republic of Cantonia.PNG

This is the map of modern Cantonia except eastern side of former Eastern Guangdong region pre-1930s.

Facts: Chaoshan region and Meizhou region both disliked from joining with Cantonia due to different language heritages and unusual economic class systems that was too far away with capital Canton (Kwang Chau). Both Eastern Guangdong and Meizhou today weren’t fully much as Cantonese language, causing many younger generation such as college students unable to speak and/understand Cantonese as secondary language. On the other hand, Cantonese and Hakka becomes a special bilingual language in many department buildings within Canton, Foshan, Huizhou, Shaoguan, and Heyuan. The border city of Heyuan and possibly at Haifeng might have an additional special language status Teochew near Mainland border to facilitate as jobs communication, as well as directing with customers from Chaoshan region. Also, I also forgot to type north of Cantonia that the light pink shade is the People's Republic of China.

Late Chinese Civil War
In mid-1949, after the communists took over the city of Shanghai and the Yangtze River (including former capital Nanjing, the ROC government retreated to Xiamen city to stage the besiege defence to hold out as much long as possible as could. The Nationalists knew the Cantonian government would not allow any fleeing Nationalisgt government officials and soldiers to operate exiled Nationalists government in Canton (Guangzhou). The Cantonian military weren't much as superior strength to defend at the eastern side since the communists attempted to invade from the east after taking over Chaoshan region. So, on October 3, 1949, after Mao Zedong proclaimed the founding of the People's Republic of China, the national Cantonian government enacted martial law across the country to combat the preparation for the communists invasion. A guerilla communists near Heyuan and northern Shaoguan region attempted to launch a surprise attacks to aim the signal for the PLA communists army to launch the fast pace offensive attacks, but few months later the PLA Army exhausted from taking over whole Mainland China. To prevent Cantonian government from collapsing to communists, the U.S and British decided to send many military aids and supplies to Cantonia as the last few autonomy region surrounding communists Mainland China. At that time, the PRC government viewed Cantonia as the dangerous higher terrain up north making the invasion difficult to capture entire northern regions.

When Britain establishes the relationship with People's Republic of China in early 1950, the first British diplomat officials visit to Beijing to meet Zhou Enlai proposing to not to invade Cantonia for many reasons-the refugees attempts to flee to Hong Kong considering unsanitary and overpopulated in exponential population growth. The Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin and the foreign minister preferred to support Cantonia as the last window of the West before frightened invasion. With time almost running out before Cantonian launched randomize invasion, Mao ordered the communists army to postpone the invasion indefinitely due to the pressured from the Britain that need to facilitate an economic regulating trades for the beneficial on capitalism and foreign exchange between Hong Kong and Cantonia. Also, Mao interested to have a communists officials to visit Canton one day to come up the projects for the new economic trade links at Heyuan, the closest border city with Mainland China. The PRC would see an independent Cantonia as no less illegitimate than the ROC or Tibet. In the beginning of the '50s, both the ROC and Cantonia would have a large pro-Beijing population. Mao treated the nation of Cantonia the next stage in Western imperialism on the Chinese mainland.

At that time, the Nationalists from Chiang-kai shek relocated the capital from Xiamen, Fuzhou province to Taipei, Taiwan in November 1950 after a hard resistance battle mainly outside of Xiamen. Some of the Nationalists soldiers manage to escape to Cantonia to staged a guerilla warfare against PLA communists who attempted early invasion.

In June 1950, a secret Cantonian military, with the help by the ROC advisers, launched the coup and overthrow the weak President. This was occurred shortly before the Korean War starts. A new dictator stepped up as a power to reduce the spread of communism at northern regions and even Canton, temporarily stripping away on some freedoms. For over few years, the Cantonian police arrested more than 6,700 people who were sympathized with the communists ideology from Mao Zedong; some were sentenced to death that the lawyers claimed a lack of evidence. This paved to prevent the capital from turning to the semi-communists country. Mao was super extremely upset not allowing Cantonia to transformed to the communism society; the advisers notify to Mao that Cantonia dictator outlawed any political parties affiliated with the CCP. Mao abandoned the invasion of Cantonia in summer 1950 and pursue to concentrate helping struggled Korean People's Army and even Kim Jong-il. At that time the allied successfully occupy Incheon Port and Seoul, pushing north of the 38th parallel during Korean War.

After the Korean War, the Indian government invited both Cantonian and communists PRC delegates in New Delhi to discuss about the views on legitimate Cantonia nation. The Soviet and Indian government does not want the communists Mao's Army to push for the invasion of Cantonia, citing the 1953 Panmunjom Armistice that both sides of North Korean backed up by Chinese and U.S, South Korean, and U.N military gained remains stalemate for significantly longer with higher casaulties. To avoid confusion of "Kwang Tung" disputable name, the communists PRC agree to sign the treaty agreement in New Delhi acknowledging that Cantonia is official recognizable independent nation and should not start up the major conflicts. Zhou Enlai signed the agreement promising the PLA troops within the border shall respect Cantonian border without invasion.
