(Shawna's car comes from the Sunday Night Lights YouTube series by GraySpeed Productions, using the Winston Cup 98 mod for NASCAR Racing: 2003 Season. The Ontario track was created by Wild Kustoms & Cars.)

To celebrate the 20th anniversery of the Colonels cameo in Star Trek Phase II in 2002, KFC produced a series of short bumper advertisements honouring the series. Typically ran during Trek reruns or other sci-fi shows, the ads included a collection of scenarios from the crew hailing the nearest starbase to place their order, Scotty attempting to rescue their side orders with the transporter, to a pitched battle with the Klingons suddenly coming to a halt while both sides enjoy their meal.

(Based on this ad from 2006. Felt too good to not to have some fun with. And we can just say it was filmed before SARS really kicked off)

Awesome! I loved watching that advert! 😃👍

Given OTL's Miles Morales was inspired by Obama and Donald Glover's failed campaign to play Spider-Man, I was inspired to add this:

- Spider-Man II (civilian name Denzel Delaney) in a 2009 cover.

Denzel's first name comes from Denzel Washington. The character ITTL was partly inspired by Jesse Jackson; I figured that the idea of a black Spidey would come earlier ITTL due to Jackson's presidency.

- CBS Radio war correspondent Sean Michael Coulthard [1] covering the Second Korean War. Coulthard would famously become one of the first journalists to announce the death of Kim Jong-Il and won a Pulitzer prize for his coverage of the war, which eventually resulted in him being hired for CBS News.

[1] No, your eyes don't deceive you, that is pro wrestling commentator Michael Cole. OTL, Michael Cole ended up famously covering the Yugoslavian Civil War while working as a journalist and similarly here he covers the second Korean War.
