1918. After the unification of Cascadia and the newly released Alaskan States, the city of Portland became the capital city of the newly formed Independent Sovereignty of Oregon. The photo above (Taken some time during the 1920s) depicts the cities reconstruction and refurbishment. There is still many traces of Alaska's Russian heritage, even to this day, including a strong presence of Russian Orthodox Churches and immigrants.

Seen above, is the Russian immigrant Alexi Nicholson, who fled with his wife and five children during the Russian Revolution on July 2nd 1918. He lived a quiet life, his neighbours saying "He always seemed to keep to himself, he rarely ever went outside his home. And he rarely ever talked about his life in Russia, none of them did really".

Seen above is Alexis youngest daughter Annie Nicholson, who would go on to become quite the famous comedian in the ISO.

During the Liberation Day Military Parade, Head of the Allied States, Jim Silas was nearly killed by an assassin.

The would be assassin, an aboriginal woman in her late teens, possibly early twenties, attempted to kill Silas, seemingly for personal reasons, by shooting him in the face at point blank range. Amazingly, Silas survived the attempt, but was blinded in his right eye. The assassins name and fate remains unknown. It is believed she was executed.

Above is a photo taken of Jim Silas, two weeks after the attempt made on his life. During those two weeks, he still passed laws and lead the Allied States.

What happened ITTL?

Basically, World War III began right after World War II and began a protracted nuclear war. As a result, industrial society was completely ruined. We didn't have time to develop a dark reverence for the atomic bomb or mass-ecology and instead used it as we would any other weapon of war, sporadically nuking each others' farmland and industrial capacity until it becomes impossible to sustain large-scale industrial civilization. It only begins clearing up this decade.

The Great Reawakening Crisis: creatures resembling traditional Asian sky lanterns descend on a crowd in Hong Kong. Despite their beautiful appearance these creatures are actually dangerous swarm predators and their bioluminescent lights are theorized to be similar to the lures of Earth anglerfish. This would be one of the worst mass casualty incidents casused by the Reawakening.

Soldiers of the British Indian Army march in the capital and holy city of Lhasa, Tibetan Protectorate (circa 1923). It has been 19 years since the 1904 Anglo-Tibetan War ended in a quick British victory and the end of Tibetan independence as Tibet was made a protectorate of the British Empire.​

The Night's Watch patrol ship Storm Crow on patrol in the Bay of Seals, 297 AC. Ships like this work in conjucture with the Royal Westerosi Coast Guard to stop illegal smuggling from the Freefolk territory.

Centuries after a global nuclear war, Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor) leads her underground community to the surface in order to establish a new settlement in what used to be Pennsylvania, IRNA.


However, she and her companions soon find that they are not alone, as the survivors of the holocaust have established a primitive tribal society, some of which are friendly.


Others, not so much.

However, the greatest danger facing them all are the mutant cannibals from the former Confederate States known as the Reavers, who strike without mercy and rarely leave survivors.

Fortunately, Clarke's greatest ally (and eventual wife), Queen Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) possesses a keen tactical genius and a large army to boot.

August 16. Above is Abraham Acar during a diplomatic visit to the UK, on the celebrated T.E. Lawrence Day, where he negotiated an alliance with the United States. The UAK would be forced to become more progressive as the years went on, Acar arguing that it was better that it was a gradual change. He would eventually go on to become the Prime Minister of the UAK.

While Italy, with the blessing of Germany, was taking the cities of Istria and the Dalmatian coast, the Admiral Horthy called for a national forum to defend the Saint Stephen lands.
King Charles was worried by the admiral, but the menace of Italian armies moving toward Zagreb was more strong than the constitutional doubts about a reactionary leader parading in the capital.
Charles, also, was very upset by roumanian revolts in Transylvania and Bela Kun comunists that were controlling the parliament.
So, sadly, he accepted to meet Horthy seven days later.

On the orders of Tsar Michael III, the brigade has stepped up its presence in Siberia due to increased poaching of the Siberian Woolly Mammoth. These orders from the Tsar include the use of lethal force to stop the poachers if the need arises or the brigade members feel it is unavoidable.
