No Unilateral Ceasefire in Sino-Indian War

( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sino-Indian_War ). It only stopped because China declared a ceasefire after it had taken what it wanted. What if this didn't happen and the war continued until an actual peace treaty was signed?

From what it sounds like, India and the United States were going to fight the People's Republic together. What would the USSR do? If the USSR doesn't help them then India would ditch the Non-Aligned Movement and side with the USA and I don't think the USSR would have liked that.

This might have been an odd occasion where America and the Soviets fight together. The Soviets are likely to invade Manchuriaif theres any sign this war will go on.
