Kaiserreich: Legacy of the Weltkrieg

How's this as an idea for the end of the French Commune:

During the Second Weltkrieg, the Germans invade France, and, similar to OTL, the Communal Army is swiftly overrun and the Totalist regime finds itself in a similar predicament to the French National State at the end of the First Weltkrieg ~ fleeing South, and with ordinary citizens rebelling against the Commune, having lost faith in the Totalist system.

In a repeat of history, just as Marshall Foch had done in 1919, a French General launches a coup d'etat and arrests leading Totalists, and then invites the exiled Government in Algeria to return to France.

Has anyone got any ideas for what happened in the French Communue during the Interwar period, such as, for example, what happened to Monaco and San Marino?

Sounds good altough not sure would Germany trust enough to Third Republic in-exile even if they were allies during WW2.

In my headcanon France basically becomes divided between pro-German North France (probably under restored Orléanist monarchy) and authotarian South France.

Do you think Israel will become a thing in Kaiserreich post Second Weltkrieg world?

I don't think so. There is not such antisemitic event as in OTL and not really push towards creation of Jewish state.

And frankly, IMO it is pretty cliche that every TL has some Jewish state anyway. It is not even remotely inevitable.

Perhaps the chickens came along and suggested to the Germans [in chicken language, of course] that the French Third Republic in exile would be more willing to negotiate with them than an entirely new Government under someone the French would see as a puppet of the Kaiser.

Alternatively, the French General who led the coup was motivated by a desire to stop France being completely occupied by the Germans, similar to the General Strike at the end of the First Weltkrieg, and so he decided that extraordinary times called for extraordinary measures, and invited the French Third Republic back rather than form his own Government when it was clear nobody wanted a continuation of the Commune.

If the Germans decide to crown a cousin of the Kaiser as King of France, who would the most likely candidate be?

The extended tech tree mod is a must have, this is China
Is this from the Extended Tech Tree mod for Vanilla or is it a Kaiserreich-specific mod?

Well it could be, though the conditions of its creation are by no means guaranteed, if by Israel you mean a Jewish state its not even guaranteed to be in the same place as OTL Israel.

If for example, you have the Reichspakt Ottomans losing the war to say, France or Russia, and there was some widespread oppression or massacre of jews in Europe or the Middle East (not unforeseeable given the histories of the RP and Ottomans), you could see an Israel formed in a similar area to otl, though likely not exactly the same.

Ok I suggest everyone to watch this, this video is one of the most well researched videos I have ever seen and it presents not only a very well made narrative on Savinkov life but also a extremely accurate representation of 1890s-1920s Russia

The ending gave me goosebumps

I’m actually using it as a source on Savinkov in my current Great War TL.

How's this as an idea for the Second Weltkrieg:

at some point during the height of the Second Weltkrieg, Hermann Goring, seeing Germany distracted by a war on two fronts [against the Entente in the West and the Totalists in the East], declared the Free State of MittleAfrika independent from the rest of the German Empire, with himself as its Fuhrer. [Fuhrer, in German, just means "leader," so it seems logical Goring would use this as his own title to me]

The Germans were outraged when they learned of their largest Colony's betrayal, but, with their forces fully deployed, they could do nothing.

Goring immediately sent peace feelers to the Entente, offering an immediate armistice to be followed by a peace treaty. Exhausted by fighting on multiple fronts, the Entente replied that they were willing to accept Goring's offer in exchange for certain territorial concessions and information regarding German troop deployments in Europe, which the Entente were preparing to invade.

What I am asking is if anyone has some suggestions as to what the peace treaty might look like, and what might happen next {as well as if this sounds plausible as a plot idea}

I can't see Göring betraying his home country. He was really patriotic altough extremely corrupt and very incompetent. And wouldn't Entente be side of CPs against commies since they have taken their original countries?

In other hand Kaiserreich is not really plausible so perhaps this could be possible on inner logic of the mod.

Alternate History, my friend, is not an exact science. In our timeline, the allies and the Soviet Union fought on the same side against a mutual fascist enemy, and then, after the war, decided they would go back to a state of not liking one another very much.

As for the Entente and CP working together, I am not sure. I am simply looking for a way for the CP to survive into the post ~ war era.

For my personal timeline, which has no name at the moment except for "Segments," which is what it is saved under on Microsoft Word, I have been writing events taking place in either the interwar period, or post ~ war era. Most of the segments I have done are nothing to do with Kaiserreich, as they are based on a game called "Sid Meier's Civilization IV," which was one of the games that got me interested in history in the first place, and another one entitled "Victoria II," the thread for which on this website I also comment on.

For the late 19th Century, I so far have Russia not selling Alaska to the USA, the Brazilian Empire surviving into the 21st Century, and the First Weltkrieg starting under different circumstances than in OTL. I am also tempted to have California choosing an independent path for itself after the Mexican ~ American War, and the Kingdom of Hawaii surviving the 19th Century, probably as a British Protectorate.

For the interwar period, I so far have FDR being elected in the 1930s [he's a little too interesting for me to butterfly away], although I don't know how he'd deal with the problem of Reed and the CSA, an alternate career for Adolf Hitler, and the Reds winning the Russian Civil War, however, so far I have kept Transamur and National France in my nameless story, as well as a Republican Revolution taking place in Japan at the end of the First Weltkrieg.

My ideas for the post ~ war era mostly focus on a "United Islamic Republic," which is made up of a unified Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Qatar, and the UAE, although I have no ideas so far for Israel, and the Space Race between the USA and USSR.

I can't really see other options for Entente than ally with CPs during WW2. If exiles in Canada and North Africa want return to Britain and France, them just have not other way as ally with CPs. Even if they don't like each others very much alliance at least would be on ground "enemy of my enemy is my friend at least for now". And on POV of CPs Entente would tie some Internationalist forces.

Intresting altough not sure would this be plausible. Russian government felt Alaska being pit of money and completely useless. Of coursse later it could work as refugee place for Tsarist regime.

Intresting. Perhaps too surviving Texan Republic and CSA winning the civil war? That would too explain why Russia doesn't sell Alaska.

Personally I feel FDR bit overused but why not. I just can't think other person. If CSA is independent it can't be Huey Long whom I feel being even more intresting character unless his parents decide move to USA before his birth. Perhaps Second Civil War could be avoided. If USA has already lost territories it wouldn't even be needed anyway.

Russia could indeed go as Red what should had happen in Kaiserreich IMO.

Islamic State of Arabia sounds intresting and perhaps too bit scary. Not sure if Israel would be existing without Holocaust. And personally I feel creating Jewish state not matter where and when pretty overused.

I do think this a plausible scenario. (Goergnia in Kaiserredux has the same prompt to this). Although I think with him backstabbing the Kaiser, MittleAfrika would probably collapse, as they were highly dependent on Germany for keeping their colonial administration afloat after Black Monday. So collapse would be inevitable, which makes him wanting Entente support even more likely. British and French forces would be deployed elsewhere, and a victory in Africa would be good news for their home fronts. As for Germany, this loss would be devastating for morale, not to mention to paranoia brought along with it. So it would be safe to say Germany would lose in the following years.

It's inspiration so far comes from the United Arab Republic of our own world so far, so it's not meant to be scary. Maybe the name changes came in order to reflect a large number of non ~ Arabs who also happen to be living in its territorial extent?

If you're wondering why Oman isn't there, it's because Oman has its own, quite unique sect of Islam as a majority religion among its populace and most of the UIR's citizens would be Sunni, and I doubt Oman would want anything to do with such a large country full of Sunnis.

The CSA winning the 1860s Civil War is one idea I have been toying around with a lot. Yes, it's overdone, but, hey, it's alternate history, so who cares? I have also been reading several timelines about the Confederacy surviving on this website as well in the search for ideas. I have posted below what is, so far, the only segment I have concerning Alaska currently.

I have plans for the Kingfish, don't you worry. He's too interesting to butterfly away, but he won't be, in any way, some form of Hitler analogue in this particular story; that's already been done by an author far more skilled than me. If the America First faction is present, they'll have to find a different candidate for the 1936 election, however, if they haven't already fallen apart after FDR's success with the New Deal effectively hemorrhages support from extremist political factions.

On the Russians, instead of having the USSR like in our timeline, so far it's only Russia under Bolshevik rule of the states formed after the Russian Revolution, so it's name for now is the Russian SFSR. [Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic] I also have Lenin being assassinated by a Tsarist shortly after the Russian Civil War so far. The French Commune I already have ideas for, but they'll be there.

Wouldn't he be just called as Nicholas III since he is claimant for Russian throne?

But intresting idea anyway.
