And I feel sorry for the SocLib guy, considering it is likely expressing his political views in his homeland is unsafe, to put it mildly.

I don't know... SocLib Russian guy just feels a bit TOO friendly to me, and feels like he is hiding something. Maybe I am just paranoid. More perhaps he is actually someone that is hiding a lot of pain inside him behind a friendly facade.
