Since these are early Ticos, did the Burkes enter service eventually?U.S.S. Cape St. George (CG-71) engages a Revolutionary Air Force of Mexico aircraft during Baja War ops, January, 2010: View attachment 897583
I was expecting Communist Mexico would not last after the fall of the USSR. Hence, I'm surprised it's still alive by 2010. What would happen to the historical forts, churches, and Mayan/Aztec pyramids? Did the Communist Mexico regime destroy them just like the Red Guards during Mao Zedong's Cultural Revolution? They stayed Communist after the Third World War, and when the Baja War broke out after Baja became the 51st State on 1 Jan 2010, they started another war with the U.S.. Three weeks later, it was over after the U.S. Army and Marines took Mexico's four northernmost states and part of a fifth (this includes most of Mexico's oil fields). The Mexican government that started the war was overthrown and was replaced by another group of Communists who call themselves the PLDP (Popular Liberal Democratic Party in English). They are neither of the three, and have four major Anti-Communist insurgent groups to deal with, and the Zapatistias, who think the current regime-and its predecessor-are/were not Communist enough.
The current regime is in power because it pays its soldiers well and on time. It also lets the Army do its thing without too much in the way of loyalty checks. They are also fortunate that the rebel groups spend much of their time fighting each other instead of the Government.
Definitely weaker. In other words, the U.S. could make a deal with the devil and supply them with surplus weapons from WWIII to keep the Communist Mexico regime destabilized.i bet Cartels are weaker than in OTL unlike Cartels OTL got military grade weapons and brutality.
Deal with the Cartels like yeah having the poor Commie Mexican Army got their body parts chopped off in pieces and placed on the areas to scare them like OTL Cartels doing gruesome macabre of chopping their rivals and snitches in pieces and placed it on roads and underpasses as a warning.Definitely weaker. In other words, the U.S. could make a deal with the devil and supply them with surplus weapons from WWIII to keep the Communist Mexico regime destabilized.
With regards to the Tomcat image, I ask: WHAT?! Why would VF-114 be operating that far inland, unless Enterprise either took a lot of damage or was in for overhaul/refit?View attachment 809812A captured MI-24 Hind conducting USCG narcotics interdiction operations in the Caribbean, October 1993

A F-14A from VF-114 near Odessa Tx, early June 1988. COMBLOC forces sabotaged much of the oil infrastructure in the Permian basin after the failure of the Midland-Odessa offensive in May 1988. The region would not see a return to its pre-war level of production until the turn of the century.

The 163rd Calvary Regiment from the Montana National Guard prepares to defend the Casper Line, June 1986. The successful defense of I-90 became known as the COMBLOC’s “high water mark” and was notable for being conducted largely by National Guard formations from Colorado, Wyoming and Montana.
territory was officially annexed in 1995 by Pretoria.
I suspect with ANC discredited due their support for the Soviet Union during the war, the SA future is different.
