xt828 Your work in this thread is excelent, but all this belong to some specific TL? do you have a principal thread to that universe? some pieces are not enough I want mOOOOOOOre.
I posted a shot of Africa from it in the map thread a little while back, I think.
So yes, there is a specific TL attached to it, just not one that I've elevated much beyond head-canon - the fate of most of my TLs, due to the sheer amount of work involved in making a proper TL. I am slowly working my way through Asia and Oceania - the vexillological changes to the Americas are minimal, so it'll be a short trip there.
Anyway, it's great to hear that you like my works.

It's just some musings on how a post-apocalyptic civilization in North America would remember "the present".
The flags and arms are obviously derived from cultural-drift-ed and mythical remembrances of the flags/arms.
Yuk is derived from UK and blended with a derivation of (New) York.
Nettow is a misremembering of NATO blended with the US and assumed dominance of New York: United States > Yuk-Nettow State
Thus Nettow is believed to be an empire succeding the Yukish (ie British) Empire
Potent is a translation of a word derived from both POTUS and potency/power etc - probably due to Spanish influence on American English
Nelland/Norskut is a blending of Holland-as-Netherlands and NovaScotia-as-Scotland - andprobably some Habsburgyness - due to the arms.

More a sort of greater Algarve that includes the OTL province of Seville.

There is very little known about this group other that it consists of leading men and ladies of politics, industry and science. They come together in the small town of Springfield every year on the twenty-first of June. Who knows what there planning?

Owned by Hank Scipio Sr. They disguise themselves as a friendly and high-tech company but evidence shows that they are mere a front company for the stonecutters to do there bidding. Isn't it surprising that the same Hank Scipio was present at every Stonecutters meeting, and that his family has a long history with the organisation. Globex has branches in every developed country. It also has strong ties with regimes in China,North Korea,Cuba,Syria,Iran...

.Very, very cool. I love the sound of that, the Presency. Probably a derivation of "Presidency", but it also brings a whole new meaning for "State", a Presency that Is in this moment. I love it!
