Based on relations the war should never have happened, indeed the very concept was that all these related families would bring peace, the i would argue it was part of why all the big houses got swept away, the thoroughbreds failed to earn their keep. In fact they had brought a war with their petty clamor over who was the best breed. The Windsors are more German than even British, why not a Gotha or Coburg or Saxe? Put a German from that family on the throne? I suppose the Americans and French preferred the result they got, better had a head or two rolled. We elect our Kings and look past breeding, they merely need be a better gift horse.

Paliamentary Monarchy?
Unlikely, but not impossible, even legally to change the constitution.
But very hard to get a majority to do so .

The question I was replying to was whether a new monarchy could be established. Spain brought back an old one.

So does Germany ITTL.
Completely new monarchies aren’t a 20th Century thing to begin with.
