From a halt thought-out story where the UK joins the Central Powers and wins the Weltkreig so here's the Italian front.
There will always be people who stubbornly stay. I'd say that Tacoma wouldn't be a full-on ghost town given it's pre-eruption population.I’d figure that at least 2/3rds of Tacoma is destroyed and or filled with ash
Unless the eruption is so sudden it kills basically the entire population (which was what I believed to have occured on the box)There will always be people who stubbornly stay. I'd say that Tacoma wouldn't be a full-on ghost town given it's pre-eruption population.
If it’s anything like the Mount St. Helens eruption, you’d have a few weeks of earthquakes, steam venting, cracking and slope bulging before it finally pops. If nothing else, those alone would probably have the state government on standby and some people moving out of the city under the own initiative and fear it might eruptUnless the eruption is so sudden it kills basically the entire population (which was what I believed to have occured on the box)
OH YEAH YEAH! OH YEAH!
Fun stuff. Just a heads up though (and I might be wrong) but I’m pretty sure that’s a picture of someone other than Anderson you’ve got in the infobox. An election box dump.

Just letting you know it say that between 1812 and 1813 he had no vice-President.SNIP
Don't you mean "shot dead" and not short dead?View attachment 589993
At first glance, this Wilson is much like our own. He’s elected in 1912, segregates the Federal Government. He still proclaims American neutrality then volte-faces into WWI. We still win, and the Treaty of Versailles still gets fumbled. He has a stroke in 1919, and is President Vegetable for the remainder of his term.
But look a little closer, and what do you find? Troubling signs. Vice President Marshall is short dead in 1918 in Chicago. A harsher set of Sedition Laws are soon passed by Congress, even if Wilson is hesitant to use the War Department tribunals. Pushback from the left results in a bloodier Red Scare, including the assassination of several government officials by anarchist bombers. When Wilson suffers his stroke, Robert Lansing is next in line, and he is *quite* willing to push to become acting President. Edith loses the power struggle, and the President spends the rest of his term basically locked out of his own government. The worse Red Scare leads to greater desire for “security” and his successor, a man with no political experience promises to deliver that.
Wilson dies a few months later than IOTL, as a result of even less work in his final months in office. He does not live to see the full consequences of what he has wrought.
