All Good Things Flow into This City: A Timeline

This is a new TL on the darling of the alternate history community: Romanía/Byzantium!

Rest assured that this will be a good one, if extensive and filled with many divergences, some small and others not so much. I will look forward to starting this very soon. For now, some maps.

Well apparently the Macedonians would focus more over an Italian strategy, apparently after the Carolingian collapse. And apparently recovering Sicily, Sardinia and Corsica as well. But then we had an HRE recovery and a Bulgaria stronk, while gains were made in the Middle East... An united Roman Empire from Italy to the Caucasus under Basil II then stabilizing between those points may be interesting. But those are just personal suppositions based on those two maps after all.
