AHC: The Empire of Louis the Pious divided into 5

So OTL the rebellions of his sons paved the way for Louis the Pious's Francian Roman Empire to be divided into 3, subsequently causing imperial power to decline until Otto of East Francia (Germany) conquered Italy and claimed the imperial mantle & title.
In your opinion what's the best way to achieve a 5 way split instead? What are these partitions? What happens with the imperial title?
And what are the consequences down the line assuming the Viking and Magyar invasions/raids still occur?

Louis has 5 sons instead of 3

Two ways to divide it IMO
1. As OTL except West Francia and East Francia split in half as well
2. West Francia and East Francia split in half, no Middle Francia, North Italy as a separate partition

Well based on the OTL sub-kingships and assuming he simply has a 5th son, Lothar as King of Italy and Emperor, Pepin as King of Aquitaine, Louis as King of Bavaria, Neustria to Charles and the fifth unnamed kid with Austrasia or Burgundy, with the Emperor getting the rest.

might not be the best, but this seems the obvious choice. maybe throwing northern germany in with the netherlands, but not sure

The division of 817 with some corrections would be the best. So, if the division happens in 825 instead of 817 and Bernard of Italy doesn't rebel against Louis or maybe he rebel, but is pardoned, you could end up with a division like that:

Lothair, Emperor of the Romans, King of the Francs, and King of Neustria, Austrasia, Swabia (or Alamania) and Saxony.
Bernard, King of Italy
Pepin, King of Aquitaine
Louis, King of Bavaria
Charles, King of Burgundy
