A century of Revolutions. (An alternate history)

This america has some completely different people in power, i thought it would be fun to try out. I've been working on it for a while, so i'll start on where i am CURRENTLY, 1920. (I may upload the earlier histories later.), How about a little background?

  27. Stephen Pierce (1920-????) (Does not want to be President)

February 1920
President Hancock resigns after doctors find a third tumor, this time in his prostate, so he resigns, Vice President Pierce says "I reluctantly accept, but only out of respect for our dying President.)

President Pierce announces he is NOT running for his own term.

It looks short, but i'll update it frequently, how is the premise? with any questions (i.e. a more detailed backstory or info about previous presidents) i will happily give vivid descriptions.

March 1920
Former President Maurice Collins announces "I will, yet again, seek the Republican Nomination! We never stop until we win!"

April 1920
Tennessee Senator Lloyd Baldwin announces his candidacy, "I wish to run under the democratic Party."

French Guards help put down a Rebellion in Africa.

President Pierce announces The Niger Delta area is admitted to the Union as the 49th state. (NI)

Italian mobster Vinny Pellegrino is arrested for killing the secretary of state and deported to Italy.

Niger Delta Senator Bode Yegini, Alaska Territorial Governor Scott Ramsey, and Actress/Activist Essie Adkins announce candidacy for the Republican Party.

May 1920
French Guards continue to put down rebellion.

Director of the Library of Congress Leland Johnston announces his candidacy for the Democratic Party.

June 1920
Republican Convention - A deadlocked one, with Adkins' Name being the first withdrawn (on the 8th Ballot.) And the deadlockiness continued, Scott Ramsey withdraws from the race. On the sixteenth ballot, Bode Yegini was nominated, with Collins never actually withdrawing, The party decides to stay away from civil issues, and campaigns on a fiscally conservative, business platform, promoting the economy of a Republican President. Bode Yegini says "Let us be able to create jobs, and factories, in America, let us make equality between America, and American Africa, because we, we are not speaking of a continent, not the continent america, the country, the United States. It was a really politician-y speech.

Democratic Convention - A two-way race. Baldwin led the whole time, after only 6th ballots, he's nominated. The Party adopts a moderate economy platform, and a socially conservative one, taking advantage Senator Yegini's dark-skinndedness to pull off a rascist campaign, at the acceptance of the nomination, Senator Baldwin says "It is now Senator, Vs. Senator. I must pick the only, yes, really, only person who challenged me, the only other Democrat willing to put himself out there against the Republicans in 1920, Leland Johnson." He also said some other stuff and if i quoted it i'd be banned.
