Same TL as my earlier map, but now in 1950!
What is the year?
I think your population is quite a bit low, then.Dunno, I was just doing a general wank of Mexico, but given the Regional languages, I'd say 1960's.

A map of what I consider to be the largest Pakistan could've gotten (though only temporarily); the additions of course being all of Jammu and Kashmir save for Aksai Chin and the Lakshadweep Islands.
Huh, I didn't realize the Lakshadweep Islands were in the running for possibly could have gone to Pakistan.
They're predominantly Muslim (over 90%) and IOTL Pakistan sent a ship to claim them but was beaten by India by mere hours.
Nice. But wouldn't that be Transjordan still?
How's *Israel/*Jordan?
How did Vietnam and the rest of SE Asia gain their independence?
Is that German or independent Borneo?
How are the Chinas doing?

You missed a few spots in Tibet. Are those rebellions?
Go a little nuts on the internal borders, did we?
I think I've read parts of that TL a few times...inspired by something by rvbomally

"This is a largely unipolar world, dominated by the local US-variant, but this is
shifting as the US is currently in a high-stability political stasis making major
positive changes very difficult in the short to medium run."
"Vistors should be cautious in using irony, since many of the locals are
unfamiliar with this mode of conversation and may be confused and enraged
as a result."

Those appear to be what are commonly known as lakes.
