B-18_Bolo_formation_on_anti-submarine_patrol.jpg

A formation of USAF B-18 Bolo bombers on route to bomb targets in the Richmond-Petersburg Area, circa September 3rd, 1941. With the outbreak of war against the CSA, the United States Air Force would implement War Plan 601, which was drawn up in the 1930s as a plan to attack Confederate targets in the event of war. Taking part in this raid, where 28 B-17Cs, 58 B-18s, and 64 P-24 fighters would take part in this operation which was aimed at Industrial and Military Targets in the vicinities of Richmond, Petersburg, and Norfolk. The raid would see a few targets in Richmond and Petersburg being damaged as well causing some casualties on the ground. In Norfolk, the bombers had also targeted a few docked Confederate warships in the harbor as well as going after military and industrial targets within the city. Though the Union bombers managed to caused damage to the latter targets, they would only destroy the seaplane tender CSS Kitty Hawk while failing to cause significant damage to other ships such as the battlecruisers Jefferson Davis and Camp Hill. The Yankees would suffer the loss of 10 B-17s, 19 B-18s, and 12 P-24s, both to either ground-based Anti-Aircraft fire and to CSAF fighter planes with a few more aircraft returning home damaged.
What would the CSAs Dresden be you think?

No idea, maybe Savannah, New Orleans, or maybe even Charlotte?
I think in IATD Don Partridge mentioned "getting back to Charlotte to keep things running" when he surrenders , so it's probably intact . Savannah is mentioned in the same book but not that it's a fucking firestorm. New Orleans, idk would the US try and get some clout with Louisiana by not destroying it? Columbia South Carolina is my bet cause " that's where the first state voted to secede "

Hmm...

A few that could work would be say Tuscaloosa, someplace in Mississippi, or oddly enough, some city in Florida like Pensacola, or Tallahassee.

Columbia South Carolina makes the most sense given the Union dropped a Atomic Bomb on Charleston for similar reasons.

As someone who hates the university of Alabama and all it's assorted sports with a blind hatred. I support your first choice

Russell Long , son of the late Kingfish Huey Long. After his father's assassination he was able to stay hidden amongst the small poorer towns in Louisiana who still loved his father. He managed to survive the SGW and became a Socialist ( of the more " conservative" faction) senator for the US upon Louisiana's readmission to the United States .

" Me and my family were confederate patriots until that up jumped Virginian had my daddy killed, now if being a Yankee means telling his lot to go to hell, then I'm a damned Yankee"

I was wondering do you think WWF/WWE been Exist on this timeline like Pro Wrestling at least there’s a fictional Wrestler waving a Confederate Flag aka Nikolai Volkoff stand-in been played as a Heel.

Yes. Vince McMahon Sr was from DC so if he survived , I don't see why not. His son was born in north Carolina so unless he shacked up with a gal while on occupation duty..the Vince we know and love probably wouldn't.

As to pro wrestling as a whole. The territories would probably exist. Confederates would be the go to heel in Yankeeland along with Japanese and Brits and Frenchies. In the south ... I think it could be kinda like Japanese wrestling where it's less character based because a guys gimmick being a proud confederate might not go over well with the US. so maybe some good southern boys, full stop.

Jim cornette is 💯 still in wrestling though because that's hilarious

The Rock in TL 191 been still more hilarious if you smell when the Rock of Roastin!! Of course Chris Benoit been moved from Quebec to Us as a Pro Wrestler.
