It would be interesting to see Portugal, from importer of ideas, become an exporter, whether in terms of religion, politics and culture. If Portugal became way more powerful TTL, compared to OTL, then its ideas might export more easily, especially if they produce positive results (more freedom, knowledge and wealth).The four foreign fads of ideas and influences had a lasting impact in post-Pombaline Portugal to the point that much of the architectural development occurring in areas throughout the mainland in these decades was themed around the strongest foreign influence in the respective area, or simply by the liberation of minority rights passed by Joseph II at the start of the 1780s.
