@Baron Steakpuncher They can work, though not really for the main characters :coldsweat: Most of the PoV characters are in their early to mid 20s. Particularly what I am trying to find are single shots of soldiers and officers. :)

@Kol Neat, thanks. :)

What's their story?

Each of them are characters for my AAR. I am using them as a way to show through their eyes the different aspects of the game. So the outcomes of decisions, foci, events, techs, and so on will be seen from their PoV.

Jayajala Muten: The young scion of a Manchu clan, as well as an officer in the Qing Army. Believes that it is up to him to restore honor to his clan and to a degree china as a whole. Supporter of the Manchu Party.

Cao Fei: The ambitious wife of Zhang Yi, a rising member of Young China Party. She is working with Yi to help him rise up the ranks both in the party and help YCP within Chinese politics.

Ren Jiyu: A bureaucratic Minister. Strong believer in confucian values(and hates corruption which is a problem with the Zhili clique in charge). A member of the NCERA faction.

Li Jinyuan: A businessman in one of the Chinese banks. More out for himself than any particular faction. A good portion of the economic stuff will be seen through his eyes.

Chen Zhen: The leader of his village's militia. Not really part of the political stuff since he is a peasent, and more concerned with defending his village from bandits(who are often tied to the Zhili clique).

George C. Marshall Commander of the Western Defense command (The armed forces of the Pacific states of America) meeting with Zhou Enlai foreign minister and later premier of Republic of China discussing The deployment of the Chinese volunteer group in The second North American war.

Chinese involvement in Second north American war was limited to the Chinese volunteer group due to the ongoing Burmese war with Burma and India . As well as the sheer distance involved there was also difficulties coordinating between the newly formed imperial Japanese Air Force,Western air command (Pacific states of American Air Force)and The volunteer group due to Commonwealth involvement in the war via New England Front due to the fact that the Chinese were simultaneously allied with the Commonwealth as well as at war with the commonwealth via the Burma war.

Shan Federal army Soldiers at a lookout looking to the Border with Burma

The Burma war(1950-1952) began when Royal Burmese army attacked the Shan confederacy in response to Burmese aggression the Kachin Republic launch a counteroffensive which led to the encirclement of the main Burmese force Which then retreated and Shan and Kachin forces followed which then causes India to intervene in favor of The Burmese and nearly reach the border with yunnan which caused China to unofficially intervene in favor of the Shan and Kachin Governments by the deploying the national volunteer army which was essentially the Southwest frontier force which then led to a stalemate and the subsequent peace treaty. in the Commonwealth outside of India it's known as the forgotten war compared to the Second north American war. it's more famous counterpart

IWW Militiamen skirmish with Federal irregulars in a small Maryland town in the opening days of July, 1936

After the start of official hostilities in June of 1936, Syndicalist volunteers and militia units poured across the Mason-Dixon Line in an attempt to capitalize on Federal paralysis and take Washington D.C. Baltimore fell quickly, but the Reds found themselves bogged down in the northern reaches of Washington, and resistance intensified as they approached the Potomac. The small towns that dotted both Howard and Montgomery Counties proved a baptism of fire for the worker’s militias as they fought tooth and nail against small detachments of Maryland National Guards and civilian volunteers. The capture of Frederick in late July paved the way for the collapse of Federal resistance in the countryside, and by the start of August, organized opposition in the Old Line State was essentially crushed: only the metropolitan heart of DC remained to the Federal Government north of the Potomac River...
