I really prefer concepts of weird post apocalyptic societies like this, rather than simple devastation.

These images remind me of this series Baxter wrote about a sudden flooding of the Earth. If such a scenario happened I could see this as a solution: create floating cities to house what refugees they can.

I went back to was once New York and i was shocked. I haven’t been here since the bombs dropped. And what was left of The Statue Of Liberty, was just the arm holding the torch. The only people i ever saw now were dead or the scum that the city threw onto the streets.
