Care to explain this?
It's a Fawlty Towers reference. Might be a bit on the nose in hindsight - I'll take it down if you feel I should.

Similar reasons as Soviet Union, liberalization and economic failures.Tell me everything!

That's my secret... I'm always offended.Somebody tell me if I should be offended or not!
I personally like the Dadaism, though Cleese is the best of the bunch. This is all from an American who was introduced to British comedy via the Office, listened to Spamalot because of his musical obsession, and then found the Flying Circus through The Holy Grail and fell in love. So take my opinions with a grain of salt, though I have watched a good bit more British comedy than the Circus and Office since. It's so much better than the American kind IMHO (with the more surrealist humor vein the exception.)Bah, Monty Python. Cleese is much better without the other Pythons dragging him down. The MP are way too dadaistic. Meanwhile on his own, Cleese can channel comedy with class~
Monty Python is hardly the pinnacle of British comedy.
The Two Ronnies (may they both rest in peace) are much funnier.
Morecamde and Wise were pretty good.
Watch some.I'm not familiar with their work, though.
Watch some.
It's pre-Pythons, more 'old fashioned' British humour? Origins from pre-WWII trends. What kind of comedy is it? I don't like Dadaist humour.
Pretty sure we did. But let's vote on it just to be sure. https://www.alternatehistory.com/fo...s-plausible-in-the-near-to-mid-future.408075/I'm gettin' deja vu here, but I think the thread came to a consensus about hyperloops being a-ok last time this came up.
