The Battle of Sarmizegetus was the final battle of the Dacian campaign, and was fought in March 39 BC at the Dacian capital of… SarmixegetusIt was the inevitable result of Caesar's surprise attack across the Danube. Despite that the Dacian king Comosicus has found out Caesar was on the other side of the Danube by now, he would be unable to resist Caesar, and he would retreat. He woudl later be taken captive.
