Siege of Alexandria
The Siege of Alexandria startson the 13th of February after
[[timelines:Rome Aeterna:characters:Pharxes Kahotep]] joins [[timelines:Rome Aeterna:characters:Julius Caear]] in laying seige to Alexandria where [[timelines:Rome Aeterna:characters:Ptolemy XIV]] is holes up. The city is under siege for 24 days before Agrippa arrives and captures the Island of Pharos on March 8. The distraction allows Caesar to push into Alexandria unsing siege towers. There is bitter house-to-house fighting during which Ptolemy's guards set fire to the palace, reportedly under his orders, reportedly to slow the Romans down. But Roman soldiers would enter Ptolemy's palace early morning on March 10 and captured him.
