 Pronounced Norrfuk, a county of [[England]] forming the north of East Anglia. The name comes from the "Northern Folk" of the East Angles. A very rural and isolated place known for the Norfolk Broads, a series of rivers and canals crisscrossing the county, so that is is popularly known as "Virtually an island". The stereotype of its people is as backwards farming types who don't know what credit cards are; the greatest counter-example is Stephen Fry.
