 Following the passage of the [[2008 landsraad bill|Landsraad Act of 2008]], the [[ahcom parliament|AH.com Parliament]] has been a bicameral body.  Unfortunately, the Upper House of that body, the [[ahcom parliament|Landsraad of AH.com]] has been vacant since its formation in September 2008 due to the oversight of not including election dates in the original bill.  This oversight was corrected with the passage of the [[landsraad elections bill of 2009|Landsraad Elections Act of 2009]], setting special elections for the Landsraad for March 21, 2009 which would be followed by a second set of elections alongside the Lower House and Presidential elections in August.
