Capital of the Hawaiian islands and the State of Hawaii. Also known for it's tourism, TV/movie industry (Lost, Hawaii 5-0, Magnum P.I, Jurassic Park, etc.) and 3 state highways.
It can also refer to the City & County of Honolulu, due to the immense size of the city eating up much (if not all) of the South/Southeastern portion of O'ahu. Some might say that this makes it the largest city on an island surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, with the exception of Tokyo. Of course, given the immense size of Japanese people in the city, it is not surprising that one could almost envision speaking only Japanese in this fair city.
