A Future History Variation Thread which first appeared in October 2007 with American Emperor's “The Holy Roman Empire! It's BACK!!!” and was rapidly copied by DMA's British and The Sicilian's Russian versions.
This became established enough for Thande to borrow it as a political chat thread title: after the Tories' victories in the 2008 local elections in the United Kingdom, he posted a thread with the title “The Conservative and Unionist Party of the United Kingdom! It's BACK!!!”
