WorldWar Race vs War of the Worlds Martians

i was curious as to which Race of Alien Invaders would win in a battle against each other out of curiosity. I am referring to the Original book Martians and my primary question is which categories do each of the two races trump each other in? what i mean is stuff like weapons, travel capabilities, organization, etc.

The Martians were vulnerable to 1890s vintage field artillery and to earth microorganisms.

The Race had equipment loosely approximating 1980s to early 2000s vintage, and apparently no major vulnerability to earth bugs.
