For yrs I've been aware of a uncovered coup attempt plot in Bulgaria, my question if it had been carried out what would have happen to Bulgaria and would it have been MORE independent of the Soviet Union

If the Soviets thought they were getting to independent or not toeing the ideological line they'd take measures to reign them in, just as they did in Czechoslovakia.
