WI: Edward III's Daughter, Margaret Marries Jean de Blois-Châtillon

Son of the Blessed Charles de Blois and Jeanne la Boiteuse, comtesse de Penthièvre and claimant duchess of Brittany? Jeanne was in negotiations for her son, Jean, (who later married Margot de Clisson) to wed Margaret of England but the Montfort ally, Henry de Grosmont, duke of Lancaster scuppered these plans.

Edward later tried again when he offered Philippa of Lancaster (OTL queen of Portugal) as a wife for the comte de Penthièvre. However, the comte de Penthièvre decided on loyalty to France instead (similar to the comte de Foix and sieur de Coucy) and later married Margot de Clisson.

How would such a marriage affect things in Brittany/France? I imagine Edward might use it to stir trouble or secure a beachhead in Brittany regardless of who is duke (a Montfort or Penthièvre)?
