WI: Dixie stays British

What if Great Britain retained their southern colonies (Maryland, Virginia, the Carolinas, and Georgia) in America instead of the northern ones (Quebec, Nova Scotia, St. John Island, Newfoundland, and Rupert's Land) in the American Revolution?

There might be a lot more strife in the USA than at its founding IRL - anti-Catholic sentiments were incredibly high in New England.

Beyond that, a huge swath of revolutionary figures came from Virginia - hell, there was such a thing as the Virginia Dynasty (the period in which almost all Presidents were Virginian), so seeing how an exclusively Middle and New English colonies run themselves will be interesting.
