What if after the congress of Vienna, Calais is 'returned' to the English Crown?

How does this gateway to europe effect the British outlook and involvment in the conflicts about to sweep 20th century Europe?

This makes sure England and France come to war at the first international crisis between the two of them. Really, taking Calais from the French would have been like putting a time bomb under your seat.

Yeah, we had to loose Calais sooner or later. It was just too vulnerable to the French and was keeping us stuck down.
