Edmund Tudor, Duke of Somerset was third son of King Henry VII and his wife Elizabeth York, born in 1499. He died 15 months old, obviously before they could give him proper titles, find spouse or have estabilished personality. With no younger brother, after death of Prince Artur, Henry VIII found himself under strong pressure to have a son, to avoid another succesion crisis.

But let's say that Edmund lives at least till he is in 30's (possibly longer), marries (any suggestions for possible bride?)and have two or three sons on his own. How much it will change in England, during Henry VIII reign and beyond that? Is it possible that Henry wil make his brother and nephwes his succesors before his daughters? Is it possible that if Henry will face the same problems as OTL, he will consider marriage between his daughter and Somerset's firstborn son? And what if he will try for alter Act of Supremacy, if Somersets will be devoted catholics?
