WI: Atari's (semi)glorious return in the 90's

The POD is simple, when Atari was trying to ressurect the brand as renown hardware maker, they actually have some idea how to support Atari Jaguar, system have much less problems with hardware bugs, and Atari actually have some help for potential third parties ready to make games. Is less problematic launch and chance for more games in the future enough to turn Atari Jaguar from almost instant disaster? Is there a chance for system relased in 1993 to survive on the market as important player at least till 1995 when Playstation, Sega Saturn and Nintendo 64 supposed to be relased? And is there any chance that Atari will try again in next generation?

Atari would have had a chance by providing sound and graphics cards at this time.
They were known for Games, so go into that, the hardware to play games, and look good doing it.

very easy, oust tramiel as fast you can, he completely dismantled atari videogame division so much they've to buy the British flare company to even have engineers know about videogames and rather nurturing them via R&D, they split projects in a failed 32bit console(panther) and a 64bit ones(jaguars) that were either and were already obsolete when released, Atari self destruction become worse when tramiel bought it
