WI/AHC - Make the Island of Sumatra more religiously diverse

IOTL only parts of North Sumatra, West Sumatra and the Nias and Mentawai Islands are notable for having a significant Christian presence to make up almost 11% of the Island of Sumatra's population with Hindus and Buddhists making up less than 2%, the challenge is to craft a scenario where the island is more religious diverse though with Islam still being a majority albeit concentrated more on certain parts of the island than others.

PODs can range from the Aceh Sultanate surviving as in OTL yet suffering setbacks in its expansion up to the period of the Dutch East Indies.
