WI: 1711 Quebec Expedition never abandoned.

IOTL the expedition was abandoned due to the loss of most of the troop convoy in a navigation accident on the St Lawrence river. If this disaster is somehow averted (more involvemnt with the Flagship's Sailing Master in the discussion between the Admiral and the pilots?) and the expedition goes ahead, what happens next?

The plan called for the seaward descent under Rear Admiral Walker and Brigadier General Hill to be supported by another army attacking overland under General Nicholson. Assuming this plan is carried out, what are the changes of success and the consequences? Higher opinion of colonial soldiers? A more unified British North America (assuming the British hold onto Quebec after the war as they did with Acadia IOTL)?
